Crimping 80’s style!
When I was moving out of home over a decade ago I brought with me an old hair crimper. Â I had gotten it as a present in the 80’s. Â I put it away in the back of the wardrobes and forgot about it. Â Last summer we got our wardrobes ripped out and replaced. Â This involved a total clear out of the wardrobes and a discovery of the crimper.
My oldest daughter questioned  what this bizarre contraption was.  I explained how it worked and told her it was all the fashion when I was her age in the 80’s.  She, being the girlie girl she is wanted it done.  It was summer holidays I thought why not!  The crimper was still working perfectly.
After that day the crimper was put away and only pulled out again today! So we took another step back in time and her hair was crimped again!
