So the Easter holidays have begun in earnest. We now have 2 weeks free of school but have 2 weeks to occupy the kids.
It wouldn’t be a public holiday without us marking the occasion with some beading with our Hama beads. We did our Christmas designs and included beads as one of our St Patrick’s Day activities.
This time we chose a cute little Easter chick to kick off our Easter fun.
There are hundreds of ideas if you google ‘Easter Hama beads designs’. We have a bunny and Easter basket in reserve for use during the course of the break. We also have some fab Easter colouring pages, a GAA football camp and a trip to the Park Hotel, Dungarvan to look forward to.

They are great fun and they do take a while so a great activity to take up a morning or afternoon and there is a lovely tangible output! They do larger beads for toddlers and teeny tiny ones for the older child (or adult). We use the medium ones. Lots of fun ahead for you!!
The chick is so cute! They have hama beads in our local toyshop, I must invest in some.
